Developer Tim Gurner is entering the wellness space with a first-of-its-kind, multimillion-dollar health club concept, titled ‘Saint Haven.’

The first club will open in Collingwood next year, with eight more Australian locations to follow. Memberships at Saint Haven are expected to cost up to $23,348 a year.

The clubs, which are expected to be valued at over $100 million within years, will bring together eight pillars of wellness:

  • Social connection
  • Nutrition and supplementation
  • Ultimate luxury
  • Insights and tracking
  • Ancient wisdom and modern science
  • Recovery and anti-ageing
  • Movement and mindfulness
  • Strength and conditioning

Features of the Collingwood branch will include thermal baths, bio-hacking experiences, a co-working space and a restaurant serving non-alcoholic cocktails and nootropics (substances that boost memory and cognition).

The move comes as Gurner revealed to Forbes magazine that he felt “bulletproof” after adopting an exceptional focus on his physical and mental health to survive near financial ruin in 2016.

Today, Gurner is going from strength to strength having just added a $1.7 billion Docklands project to the company’s portfolio.
