Services Manager | PLACED

A vastly experienced Services Manager who has a Mechanical Engineering background and over 20 years working across the Building Services Sector.

Originally arriving in Australia around the year 2005, he initially worked as Mechanical Engineer within an HVAC contractor before progressing into Project Management and Construction Management locally.

After spending those years in Australia, he returned back to the Middle East, where he progressed from Senior Mechanical Engineer to Construction Manager within a large international Tier one builder, looking after a range of projects and all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing-related packages in buildings.

After a short stint delivering a large international airport as Services Superintendent, and another stint working an Australian Tier 1 builder (in the UAE) as a Building Services Manager (large hotel build), he then undertook a role as Construction Manager across $700 million (US) of Building Services packages on a large public infrastructure build.

Well suited to a Tier two or a Tier one builder as a Services Manager, he has a fantastic technical mind and experience managing up to 10 Project Engineers. Key skills include:

• A Building Services expert – across Mechanical, Electrical, BMS, Fire & Pluming
• Experience managing the full lifecycle of all MEP contracts across large-scale building projects
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Experience across tender procurement and construction management
• Experience with claims assessments, invoicing variations, and extension of time claims assessments
