Senior Estimator

This experienced Estimator has over 40 years of experience in the commercial construction industry, developing estimates for a variety of projects. With a talent for preparing accurate and comprehensive estimates that eliminate or minimize scope gaps, he thinks outside the box in generating smart and efficient construction alternatives. Strong subcontractor liaison and relationship skills ensure a thorough understanding of the products available on the market. 

Project Values range from $1M – $20M in value, and include a variety of commercial buildings including apartments, schools, industrial buildings, logistics and warehouse facilities, retail, and religious buildings. 

Throughout his career, this candidate has honed his project planning, data gathering and analysis, and scope development skills. He is also skilled in computer programs such as Microsoft Office, Buildsoft, and Cubit. He has held various roles, including Estimating Manager, Head Estimator, and Senior Estimator, with his roles having included supervising and mentoring junior staff, liaising with clients and consultants, and producing preliminary estimates based on schematic and design development level documents. 

The candidate’s most recent position was as an Estimating Manager in a well-recognized Tier 3 Apartment builder. He obtained bids from vendors and subcontractors, analyzed completed projects, and checked construction plans against actual field conditions to prepare estimates. Overall, this candidate has the experience and skills to bring a great deal of value to any organization. 

He is currently seeking a Senior Estimator role – likely in the Tier 2 or Tier 3 head contracting sector.
