Project Coordinator or Assistant Client-Side Project Manager

This Project Coordinator has recently returned to Australia, having gained his Masters of Construction Qualification from Deakin University before heading back to his native India prior to the COVID lockdowns, and then being unable to return due to the closure of Australia’s international borders.

With three years of professional working experience as a Construction Project Coordinator and a strong background in building design and architecture, he possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.

He was most recently working as a Client-side Project Manager position in India, dealing with Corporate Property Real Estate clients and blue chip International Organisations, which has given him a knowledge and understanding of the expectations, processes, and systems that traverse market sectors and construction markets.

There is certainly a level of polish about his presentation. Suited to a Client-side Project Management role or suited to Project Coordination, he has an excellent academic record in construction and holds a Bachelors in Architecture.

He is experienced across subcontractor management, reading, reviewing, reading, and reviewing drawings across both fit-out and new build projects, in addition to general coordination and management of the administration of commercial construction projects.

He has a graduate visa so he is able to work for his new employer for up to three years, but within this time he intends to undertake his permanent residence with a pathway open to him. Key skills and experiences include:

• Planning and scheduling of daily site activities
• Working alongside the construction and project teams
• A strong knowledge on interpreting working drawings, shop drawings, and architectural drawings
• Take off quantities and prepare bills of quantities for tenders
• Developing final as-built documentation
