Currently operating within Melbourne’s fit-out and refurbishment sector, this construction professional has in excess of 10 years of post-graduation experience and is a Qualified Engineer.
He has worked across Tier three commercial head contractors delivering projects such as schools, police, and fire stations as well as some health, sports, and leisure facilities.
Project values are varied between $2 million to $15 million dollars, in addition to running his own residential building firm for 5+ years.
An engaging and pleasant character this Contract Administrator is suited to contract administration roles within the fit-out or Tier three building space, or, he is also suited to a client-side PM role whereby he could be relied upon to manage multiple projects to a total value of roughly $10 million or as part of a team or leading a project as a commercial specialist up to $15 million. Key skills include:
- Notice of delays, extensions of time variations, and other general Contract Administration duties
- Understanding clauses around latent conditions and inclement weather
- Preparation and submissions to notice of delay, latent conditions, or other associated costs
- Bank guarantee and securities as well as progress claim submissions
