Senior Estimator

This experienced Civil and Structural Engineer is seeking to continue his career in the construction industry where he can utilize his extensive knowledge and experience to make a significant contribution to a company’s success. With over 32 years of experience, this candidate has acquired comprehensive skills in all aspects of supervision, construction, and design of commercial, residential, and factory buildings, bridges, and railway sidings. The candidate has worked with a range of consultants, suppliers, and departments, exhibiting excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as an effective team member. 

Project Values range from $10M to $90M in value, including aquatic centres, community centres, schools, hospitals, hospitality, banks, police stations, and other institutional projects. 

The candidate has worked with larger reputable companies in Tier 2 and Tier 3 head contracting space, tendering projects worth up to $21M and $90M. He is skilled in estimating and cost planning, as well as using software such as Buildsoft and Cubit. 

Most recently working as a Senior Estimator in a large Tier 3 builder, the candidate’s responsibilities include preparing tender schedules, pricing each item, and preliminary cost to arrive at the total project cost. He also receives quotations from subcontractors and prepares adjustment sheets with subcontractor prices and finalizes the tender price with the State Manager. With a successful track record in the industry, the candidate’s skills and experience make him an asset to any company seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to add value to their team.
