Graduated in 2012, this Contracts Administrator has eight years of experience working in construction, initially joining a Client Side Project management firm before stepping into a well-known Tier 2 builder with a reputation for high volume, fast-paced fit-out works – where younger CA’s get pushed and either make it or break it.
After nearly 3 years in this role, he moved across to the UK and worked for a couple of well-regarded London-based fit-out contractors.
Having returned to Melbourne, he has been working on contract within a local builder, holding a dual role of Contract Administrator and Estimator – pricing works and negotiating contracts on some townhouse and residential age care developments.
A bright mind, willing to give challenge his all, he is suited to a Contracts Administration role within a fit-out contractor or more of Tier 3 or 4 builders who deliver multi-disciplinary projects and looking for someone with a good attitude and who is willing to learn. Key Skills include:
- Effectively managing and administering both head contracts and subcontracts through all phases of a project
- Highly driven character, with high attention to detail
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and CHEOPS
